We are witnessing a growing interest in spending holidays on the Adriatic Sea, especially on its Croatian side, and a significant increase in the nautical charter fleet. Confirmation of this is the article from CroatiaWeek, which states that "As much as 40 percent of the world's charter fleet is located in Croatia. Croatia is the most interesting nautical destination in the world.” In addition to this, in recent years, domestic owners of tourist vessels and yachts have been building larger and more luxurious vessels in local shipyards. Accordingly, CRS has moved strongly in that direction. CRS "Rules for the classification of vessels less than 24 meters in length" were launched on 01.07.2021. In addition to yachts and passenger vessels, the rules also apply to: crew transport, diving support, fishing, general cargo, offshore support, patrol and other vessels and tugs. Ships that will be built according to these rules can be made of steel, aluminium, wood, FRP and thermoplastic materials.
