| GFK Window box B-15 Type 02 is recessed one-piece construction fire class “B-15” for use to close a gap between an opening within “B-15” fire class bulkhead lining and a steel frame for window located in a structural steel bulkhead.
Window box consists of non-combustible material “PT FirstOne” and mineral wool “MIWO LIFEROCK MW-180”.
The window box has a partially multilayer structure of 25 mm thickness (two outer layers of “PT FirstOne” and inner layer of core insulation “MIWO LIFEROCK MW-180”). The inner layer finishes approx. 100 mm before the outer frame. In this area without the inner core insulation the, wall of the box and outer frame are 15 mm thick having a single layer of “PT FirstOne”.
The window box is fixed to the “B-15” bulkhead lining by its frame (82-100 mm wide flange) with 4.80x60 mm self-tapping screws. Connection between the bulkhead lining and window box flange is tighten with intumescent sealing material “Promasel LW”. Overlapping of the bulkhead and window box flange is approx. 50 mm.
Window box cone may have a sloping angle up to 88°.
Window boxes have rectangular shape with dimensions (height x width x depth): 1071 mm x 1071 mm x 613 mm, 1238 mm x 1638 mm x 660 mm, 1161 mm x 871 mm x 590 mm, 1310 mm x 1160 mm x 590 mm, 1228 mm x 1628 mm x 230 mm.
